TOWARDS CARBON NEUTRALITY
ABOUT US
The ChanonLab at Chulalongkorn University is dedicated to advancing solar-driven Power-to-X (P2X) technologies that address global challenges across the Energy-Water-Food nexus. Our research focuses on the sustainable conversion of renewable electricity into chemical fuels, including solar hydrogen, green ammonia, and other solar-derived energy carriers, contributing to a low-carbon future through scalable and integrated energy solutions.

RESEARCH FOCUSES

COMPLEMENTARY SOLAR FUELS APPROACHES
We are actively seeking innovative ways to enhance the efficiency and economic viability of solar and other renewable energy conversion. These approaches involve the active combination of various technologies and materials to optimize the capture and conversion of solar energy, thereby maximizing solar utilization.
PROTOTYPING
We actively engage in prototyping to translate innovative ideas and research findings into tangible solutions. Our goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practical application, utilizing prototypes as tools for testing and refining novel technologies. Through the active incorporation of prototyping into our research process, we expedite the development and deployment of sustainable energy solutions, ultimately contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
